Overview

                            Many of us used to install operating systems in our system using compact disk, but now many of us don’t      have CD/DVD-ROMs so we can use the Compact disk and install the operating system. so, its now issue with most people to install OS using removable drives (USB’s).

Bootable Usb: 
                   Bootable usb’s are alternatives to the disk drives to install operating systems. we download the ISO file and then make usb the source of operating system using that ISO and later we can use it many time as we want.

Methods to make usb bootable:
 there are several software’s through which one can make USB bootable for system some of which are follow.

Installation

To install the first option which is Windows USB/DVD Download Tool follow steps

• Click to open the http://ccm.net/download/download-20420-windows-7-usb-dvd-tool
• Download the software in your system
• Go through the steps displayed to you one by one. give the appropriate location where the software is yet to be installed
• It requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or higher

System requirements (minimum)

• Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
• Pentium 233MHz processor.
• At least 50MB of free space on your hard drive.
• DVD-R drive or 4GB removable USB drive.

To make a copy of your Windows ISO file:

• open the Windows USB/DVD Download Tool.
• Give the location where ISO is installed and click next

• Select the disk you want to make bootable

• Format the disk and start copying data

• When your Windows ISO file is copied to your drive, install Windows by moving to the root folder of your DVD or USB drive

How to install boot the window from usb

1. Connect the bootable usb to the system .
2. Restart your system  and press enter in  the boot selection menu ,such as the Esc/F10/F12 keys from keyboard . Select the option that boots the PC from the USB flash drive.

Windows Setup will automatically starts. Follow the instructions to install Windows.

• Remove the USB flash drive.
